Learning Assistance Centre
The LAC is an integrated service providing information and services to assist Yukon College students and applicants to develop their learning potential. The objective of the Learning Assistance Centre - Support Services for Students with Disabilities is to plan, provide and coordinate educational support for applicants, potential applicants and students of Yukon College. Services include : informal and formal assessments, program planning, recommendation and implementation re/ adaptive technology and other accommodations, individual and group strategy development sessions, institutional awareness, professional development, collaboration with and referrals to outside agencies, as well as direct service. You can find the LAC in room C1520 on the main floor.
