One of CNIM’s goals is to produce entry-level miners who can come into an operation, work thoughtfully and safely, be productive immediately, and understand the mining process and their role in it.

The training offered by CNIM allows Yukon residents, and those wanting to live and work in Yukon, access to a variety of learning opportunities that are nationally recognized and uniquely customized for the North.

Over the next decade, more than a thousand Yukoners will have access to accredited career training opportunities through CNIM. We will help northerners acquire the skills they need to fill local jobs in the rapidly growing mining and exploration sectors.
