Parking and Transportation
Parking is limited and students are advised to use alternative means of transportation if possible. Yukon College encourages car-pooling, use of public transporation and/or walking and biking to the campus.
Student parking is available on the south side of the campus - see the College map. Vehicles in the student parking lot are left at the owner’s risk. Plug-ins are not available for student vehicles.
Accessible parking for staff, student and public use is available in the staff parking lot.
There are bike racks located at the main entrance, staff parking lot entrance, gym entrance (near Yukon Archives), and near the Student Lounge exterior entrance. Bikes are left at the owner’s risk.
The City of Whitehorse provides bus service to the Yukon College from Monday to Saturday.
Bus schedules and passes are available at the Yukon College Bookstore. There is also a bus schedule posted at the main entrance to the College.
Full-time credit students may use their student I.D. as a bus pass. The 2013-14 pilot initiative which was funded by the City of Whitehorse, Yukon College, and Yukon College Student Union has been renewed till the end of May 2015.
