Mayo Community Campus

One of the original three campuses established in 1981, the Mayo Campus calls the J.V. Clark School its home. The campus has always played a dynamic role in community education. Partnerships with local and territorial organizations, the First Nation of Nacho Nyak Dun and employers within the area have greatly contributed to the success of the Mayo Community Campus. Students who attend the programs and courses at this campus come from many walks of life. Some return to upgrade academic skills to prepare for careers, to upgrade current employment skills or simply for the joy of learning.

The Mayo Campus offers a wide variety of programs, courses and workshops such as: Skills for employment, College Prep, Distance Education courses, Online courses, Standard First Aid, Safety Training, Food Safe, Scrapbooking, Business Training, and Fire Arms Certification (FAC). HACES, the Heritage and Culture Essential Skills program, engages students in their understanding and promotion of local traditional knowledge. The computer lab is open daily and the coffee is always on.
